Yoga Retreat
Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda. Goa is known as India's “beach paradise” because of its many tourist attractions and magnificent beaches. Overcrowding brought on by the surge of visitors, particularly at the busiest times of the year, has made it challenging to enjoy the state’s scenic attractions.
For lovers of beaches, Goa is the perfect tourist spot. WIthout any exaggeration, Goa is all about beaches along with touch of Portuguese culture and historical buildings which differentiate the state from rest of the country. A tour to Goa takes you in a different world altogether, creating a perfect holidaying setting. Along with beaches, there are various other tourist spots in Goa. Some of these are Albuquerque Mansion, Chapora Fort, various famous churches such as Basilica of Bom Jesus, St. Augustine church, Church of St Francis of Assisi, etc. There are various beautiful churches in Goa because of which the place has been given the name of "Pearl of the Orient"
