Overview

Yoga Asana

An asana is a body posture, originally and still a general term for a sitting meditation pose, and later extended in hatha yoga and modern yoga as exercise, to any type of pose or position, adding reclining, standing, inverted, twisting, and balancing poses. During this retreat we will practice  asana everyday to know the benefits of each asana.

Tantra Meditation

Because Tantra is the science and study of energy, tantric meditation is 100 percent energetically based. It is based on a classical Tantric practice called nyasa, in which mantras or deities are imagined in different parts of the body. In this version, the meditation is on light. One of its purposes is to make you aware of the essentially spiritual, or subtle, nature of the physical body, which Tantrikas regard as a condensed form of divine light, or divine sound vibration.

Pranayama (Tantic Breathing)

Pranayama is comprised of two words Prana and Ayama.Prana word means vital energy. Pranayama utilizes breathing to influence the flow of prana in the nadis of the pranaamaya kosha.Pranayama (breath) is a bridge between the body and the mind and its practices are an essential yoga practice that reveals deeper layers of the mind. In Pranayama we look to raise our vibration so that our sexual charge can be utilized for nourishing our higher centers (chakras).
