We are very happy to invite you to join our Holi Festive Retreat on the occasion of India’s Biggest Festival “HOLI”. The festival of colours and sweets. Holi is one of the main festival of Hindus. It is celebrated in South Asian countries, especially in India and Nepal. The festival is celebrated for one to two days. People pour coloured water on each other and cook many types of sweets and other food at their home. Holi celebrate in the spring season because it is welcoming spring. Hindus believe that spring is full of colours, so they throw coloured water on each other.
Holi is a major Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu. Through this ancient spiritual story, the message goes to the whole world that according to the “COSMIC LAW” - Victory of good over evil. In the memory of that day, huge bonfires are lit on the night of HOLI by singing, dancing and splashing clouds of coloured powder at each other. The merrymaking of the people gave the festival its flavour.
We have planned this 10 Day’s intensive yoga and cultural experience. In this retreat we will not only practice yoga asanas and Meditation but also explore this beautiful country, full of different tradition and religions. During this retreat we are going to explore the 4 beautiful cities of India, the capital of India, Delhi, City of world wonder Taj Mahal, Agra, Jaipur the land of Kings and world's capital of yoga, Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a land of God and Goddess we will stay there for few days and will explore this beautiful city. Many sages spent their lives here to worship and meditate.

Delhi
Delhi is a destination of every traveller’s dream. Its mystical presence makes it a favourite destination for both domestic as well as international tourists. Delhi has witnessed rise and fall of many great empires, glimpse of which is still present in its monuments and streets that have been walked and inhabited by great warriors since decades.
Dotted with many mesmerising architectures, Delhi is a dream destination of history and architecture lovers. Its historical splendour is accompanied by modern facilities and comfort of latest facilities, transportation and commutation facilities. This makes Delhi a destination worth visiting by all, irrespective of age and interest.

Agra
This historical city stands 200 km south of New Delhi, on the banks of river Yamuna. Over three centuries ago, it was a powerful Mughal capital and the most important city of northern India. It was at this time that Agra's many timeless architectural wonders were born: the wonderful Taj Mahal, the awesome Agra Fort, and the sprawling Agra Fort - a whole city in itself. History, architecture, romance all together create the magic of Agra, and hence, makes for a must-visit for anyone living in or visiting India.
Agra is also well known for its marble artefacts which are best bought in the Sadar Bazaar or Kinaari Bazaar area.

Jaipur
Planned by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, Jaipur holds the distinction of being the first planned city of India. Renowned globally for its coloured gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. The bustling modern city is one of the three corners of the golden triangle that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
Jaipur is a place not less than a paradise. It is impossibly romantic and picturesque, decked with royal palaces atmospheric Havlies, eclectic museums, and ancient towering temples. It is more than just a city. It is not wrong to say that Jaipur as a city is the soul of Indian culture. Fusion of old and modern, Chaotic yet tranquil welcoming and hospitable Jaipur is the beating heart of Rajasthan Tourism. Jaipur Tourism has something to offer to everyone; colourful melange of magnificent forts and palaces to feel the royal bliss; colourful bazaars and delightfully chaotic streets full of life for those who wants to explore the local life of Jaipur.

Rishikesh
Rishikesh is known as the Yoga Capital of the World, which is also popularly known as Tapo Bhumi, the home for Meditation of gods and does Yoga. The peaceful place feels like heaven as it is the town for many temples with swift, pure, and clear flowing water from the Ganges on the side. Rishikesh is also known for its connection with The Beatles. In February 1968, members of the legendary English rock band visited Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ashram (now popularly known as the Beatles Ashram) to learn transcendental meditation. The band composed nearly 48 songs during their time at the Maharishi's ashram, many of which appear on the White Album (and a few from Abbey Road).
Rishikesh is also a town of quaint cafes, which offer local and international cuisines and are mostly packed with tourists. Interestingly, in the last couple of years, Rishikesh has become very popular for its vibrant Holi celebrations, mostly organised by private hotels and resorts.

Daily Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Upon arriving at the Delhi International Airport you'll be greeted with a traditional welcome. Then, you'll be transferred to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Guided Tour of Delhi
In the morning, after breakfast your sightseeing begins. Your journey will start with the visit of Akshardham Temple— one of the biggest temple of India dedicated to Guru Swami Narayana. Then you will move to another Temple called Gurdwara Bangla Sahib— is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras, or Sikh house of worship. Later, after lunch you will go to explore Qutub Minar and will end our day with walk in old Delhis market and Rickshaw ride.
Day 3: Transfer to Jaipur (310 km/5 hours approx)
In the morning after breakfast, you'll leave for Jaipur, the colourful capital of Rajasthan known as the "Pink City. After to checkin and some rest you will go to explore Jantar Mantar, an observatory built in the 18th century. Its solar devices can measure the day's progression with an error of just 2 seconds, making it an astronomical treasure that can still accurately make predictions today. We will end the day by exploring Palace of Winds— Hawa Mahal is known as the “palace of winds“. Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh built the palace in 1799 and the colourful evening markets before getting some rest for a full day of sightseeing tomorrow.
Day 4: Explore Jaipur
Jaipur was the first planned city of its time, with imposing forts, dazzling palaces, and lush gardens. Today, Jaipur is the gateway to Rajasthan and still remains one of India's most important heritage sites, full of historic charm. After breakfast, we'll drive to the ancient capital of Amer, 7 miles (11 km) from Jaipur. Famous for its massive Amer Palace Fort, Amer was the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha dynasty for more than half a millennium.
Next, we visit Jagat Temple—Jagat Shiromani Temple is a 17th-century Hindu temple situated in the town of Amer, near Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The temple is unique for being dedicated to Lord Krishna, Meera Bai, and Vishnu. We then proceed to City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Day 5: Transfer to Agra, Visit Agra Fort & Taj Mahal (238 km/4.30 hours approx)
After enjoy your breakfast, you'll transfer to Agra, "Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel for some rest. Later you will go to visit Agra Fort—a blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture— originally built by the Rajputs and renovated from time to time by different Mughal emperors with red sandstone, bricks, and the beautiful marble from Makarana. The Fort can more accurately be described as a walled palatial city.
After visiting the Agra Fort, you'll visit the Taj Mahal at sunset, a symbol of eternal love that stands on the southern bank of the Yamuna River. It was built by the fifth Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in the 16th century. The charisma of the Taj Mahal never fails to impress, given its beautiful symmetry and white marble inlays.
Spend the evening visiting the bazaars, where descendants of the artisans who worked on the Taj continue to perfect their trade of marble craftsmanship.
Day 6: Transfer to Rishikesh, (422 km/7 hours approx)
After to enjoy your breakfast, you'll transfer to Rishikesh its a long drive so we will take break for tea / coffee or washroom after every 2 hours or any request.
Day – 7, Rishikesh sightseeing
After to have good night sleep in Rishikesh you will go to visit Vashitha Cave and Kamakshi Devi Temple before lunch. After lunch you will Visit some old Ashrams, Beatles Ashram and in the evening, you will attend fire ceremony side by holy river Ganga and free time after.
Day – 8,Rishikesh sightseeing and Holi Festival Celebration (festival colour and joy)
Today is the day to celebrate Holi Festival, After to have breakfast we all meet in the garden and take our colours, water gun etc and will move to the Rishikesh city to enjoy the day. After lunch there will be free time.
Day – 9, Rishikesh sightseeing
Rishikesh free day to do your own things
Day – 10, Rishikesh free time to rest / relax and to get ready to drive to Delhi Airport
