Yoga Philosophy - "Yoga philosophy, often simply referred to as yoga, is one of the six main darshans, or the orthodox schools of Hinduism. The origins of this philosophy are unclear, but first references can be found in the Upanishads from the 1st millennium B.C.E. The Yoga Sutras, widely regarded as the authoritative text on yoga, is a collection of aphorisms outlining the eight limbs of yoga: a prescription for moral and ethical conduct, self-discipline, health, and acknowledging our spiritual nature. During this retreat we will know about the history of yoga and other aspects of it.

Asana Practice - "Asana" is Sanskrit for “seat”. The idea of the “seat” in this context refers not only to the physical position of the body, but to the position of the spirit in relation to Divinity. This idea is often referred to as the “One Seat”, by Yogis and Buddhists alike. This help to purification of the physical body through the traditional practices of shatkarmas followed by the practices of asanas, pranayama's, mudra and bandha.

Pranayama - Pranayama is comprised of two words Prana and Ayama. Prana word means vital energy. Pranayama utilizes breathing to influence the flow of prana in the Nadis of the pranayama kosha. Pranayama (breath) is a bridge between the body and the mind, and its practices are an essential yoga practice that reveals deeper layers of the mind.
